Love the overarching theme across a number of individual big, important, hairy issues! A couple thoughts on the types of people with whom I’d be interested to discuss these topics.
1. I would be interested to hear from lobbyists (state and federal) and legislative relations folks about how these issues impact the discussions they have.
2. I recently read an interesting article about Mitch Daniels’ work at Purdue to provide a path to a 3-year bachelors degree. I thought it was a good example of what one university is doing to be responsive to public pressure around the costs and value of a college education. It would be great to hear from him or someone like him making significant changes to operations to maintain relevance.
I’ll post more thoughts when they come to mind; especially if I have specific suggestions for speakers. Thanks for getting this going. I’m excited to participate!!
